REGIMENT AFFILIATES

TotalWar.org

The oldest unofficial fan site for the Total War series, set up before the Shogun Demo was released.

Most of the activity at the Org takes place on its forums, a place to discuss the Total War series amongst like-minded people. The forums are the place to find in-depth and friendly discussion of all the TW games.

The Org is also a great place to find detailed information and advice on all aspects of strategy, tactics and mods. It houses frogbeastegg's guides to MTW and RTW, as well as faction-specific guides and a forum devoted to researching game mechanics.

The modding sections include a Modding Wikipedia and host major mods, such as Europa Barbarorum, a total conversion of RTW conceived by Org members focused on historical realism. There are active multiplayer forums for all TW games, as well as a PBM forum for those who want to play singleplayer cooperatively through "succession games".

The Org also has a variety of off-topic areas, including the famed (and occasionally flamed) political Backroom. The off-topic forums are open to new members once they have been here for a few weeks.

The Total War Center

This site primarily focuses on the Total War series. We have Gold Affiliate Status with Totalwar.com as we have been 'established for two years with a moderated forum and a large user base.’

The site is split into 4 main areas –
Community News
Home of the infamous Podcast and our very own periodicals - the Eagle
Standard, and the Helios

The Total War Community
This is where we discuss the games themselves. We have strategy guides, technical help centres and After Action Reports.

The Modding Community
We host several mods that have made the Total War series even more interesting. We have good, close links with many of the famous ones. We also host a myriad of smaller mods too.

We also have areas for general discussion of modding as well.

The Common Community.
Many people come to TWC for the mods and information about the game in general, but many stay. We have a healthy set of forums which discuss disparate subjects such as politics, history, science and sport.

The Admin Forums
Home to our very own Curia – the governing body of the members. This is one thing that stands out and gives us a distinction that other sites simply do not have. The Admin forums is also where you can find the Symposium (Civitates and above) and the Questions and Suggestions Forum where you can find the FAQ for the site, provide feedback to moderators or even appeal a decision if you feel it necessary.

The Lordz – Modding Collective
The Lordz website and forum are the beating heart of the Napoleonic Total War community. Our modifications based on several generations of Total War games try to recreate the era of sabre and musket as best as possible. The integration of musket & bayonet infantry, sabre waving cavalry and cannon pounding artillery leads to epic and long battles. War at this stage is like a game of chess, exploiting the diversity of your troops or the weaknesses of your enemy. A good strategy and solid tactics are the only way to win in our Napoleonic Total War mods that are mainly focused on multiplayer games.
