It has come to our attention that the space requirement test on installation always checks the C: drive for space rather than the target drive directory. Alexander requires approximately 451MB of free drive space so this must be free on your C: drive regardless of where the original game was installed to. If you have Barbarian Invasion please check what version you are running (start the game go to the option screen, it's displayed in the top right). If you have 1.6 you can install Alexander. If you have 1.4 please download and install the 1.6 patch before installing Alexander. Links to all the patches can be found below.
For those of you without Barbarian Invasion please do the following before trying to install Alexander. Start the game go to the option screen, it's displayed in the top right. If you are running 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2 please download and install patch 1.3 and then download and install patch 1.5. If you are already running 1.3, please download and install 1.5. Once you have done this you can then install Alexander. Links to all the patches can be found below.
You can get 1.3 below. Please make sure you download the correct version for your region. If you are running the game in English (i.e. U.S. Australia U.K. etc then download the English version):
