Picture Perfect Review
As praise for Medieval II continues to pour in, EuroGamer.net has posted a lovely review with 9/10 rating!  Clearly impressed, they commented "we can all rest safe in the knowledge that this is the best Total War yet. It's an absolute joy to take the accomplishments of Rome to the broader world, politicking and technology of the 11th to 16th centuries. Though familiar, MTWII is breathtaking in its depth, fiendishly challenging in all the right ways and a big old phlegmy spit right in the eye of anything else foolish enough to claim ownership of the strategy crown."

Meanwhile in our News From The Front Line section, the Forum community has developed a flair for taking fantastic screen captures from Medieval II!

Finally, new Developer and Community Blogs have been posted with a focus on modding and our recent Gold Code Day event!

Competition Winners Revealed!
We would personally like to thank each and every one of you that entered our Medieval II: Total War competition.  The response from you all was staggering, with entries pouring in from as far a field as Australia, Russia, Iceland, Egypt and Brazil!

The competition asked for creativity and you guys definitely delivered.  During the last two weeks we have received pledges of love, death threats, heartfelt pleas, some brilliant poetry, offers of cheese sandwiches, adaptations of Shakespeare and well-known movies, obscene jokes, medieval prose, and some that were just borderline crazy!

We really enjoyed reading them all, and the consistently high quality made it very hard to pick out only 10 winners.  However, choose we must, and it therefore gives us great pleasure to announce the winners of our Medieval II competition: David Swerdlow, Piotr Borys, Alex Geiger, Craig Jarvis, Matthew Crudele, Sarah Harvey, Anthony Lewis, Johnny Horn, Olli Kääriäinen, and Boyan Penev.

One of the winning entries (shown in the photo above) comes from Richard Jarvis, who impressively shaved off a patch of his hair to dress as a Medieval monk.  Be sure to register for our Newsletter to check out more winning entries!

Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks again to everybody who entered!

All that remains is to say a big thank you to all of you who supported us by going out and grabbing a copy of the game.
