October's Calendar Available Now!
Congratulations to  Maciej Sprada in Poland who created this months winning Create A Calendar competition design.  You can download October's Wallpaper to your desktop in a variety of sizes here.
 
 
November 2007's Create A Calendar Competition has now officially started (doesn't time fly?), and you have until the 31st October 2007 to get your entries in.  This month we are once giving away a copy of Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms, Medieval II and Rome soundtracks, and a piece of signed Medieval II artwork. 
 
Ensure that your artwork is sized to 853 x 640 pixels, and then send your completed entries to: totalwarcomp@creative-assembly.com.  Please visit our Competitions page for full entry terms and conditions. Stay tuned for our exclusive October Calendar blog, coming soon!

Americas Gameplay Video
We were delighted to learn that Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms has been nominated for a BAFTA in the Strategy and Simulation category.  The winners of the British Academy Video Games Awards will be announced at the ceremony on Tuesday 23rd October 2007 at Battlesea Evolution. 
 
Our highly anticipated fourth gameplay video from the Americas Campaign in Kingdoms is now online. Click here to download it in Windows Media format!

Medieval II: Update 3 Released!
Update 1.3 is now available to download for owners of Medieval II: Total War.  The latest update includes online multiplayer fixes to allow owners of the original game to play with those who have installed Kingdoms (available in stores now!). You need Update 2 installed in order to install Update 1.3. 
 
Instructions:
Download Update 1.3 from one of the mirror sites below, unpack it to your desktop using WinRAR and then manually install the patch via the proper language folder in the “Update 3” folder in this directory. Double click on “medieval2.exe” to get started:
